Does Your Patient Need a Biopsy?
Dentists are the practitioners most likely to detect pathological conditions
affecting the head and neck region at a stage when they are most manageable.
Few dentists, however, regularly provide biopsy services for their patients.
This session will provide insight about what lesions to consider for biopsy,
when to biopsy, and what types of biopsy techniques are most likely to yield
a definitive diagnosis for your patients.
Name that Lesion!
How to develop a differential diagnosis for common pathologic conditions seen
in the dental office, presented in a case-based format of real patients with
real lesions from the UB archives. What would you do for this patient?
