UB is offering the first University based Botox & Collagen/Dental Health Related Tx Workshops

Guest faculty, Dr. Robert Gordon, DDS brings his expertise as one of the foremost authorities on perioral augmentation to a new training program designed to give you the skill and knowledge necessary for entry into using botulinum toxin type A and collagen in the oral and maxillofacial area, as it is related to restoring and maintaining dental health.

Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Procedures II
Advanced 2-day lecture & training course covers semi and permanent dermal fillers, biological interactions, technical approaches with specific materials, and advanced imaging techniques for optimal treatment results.

Credits

Earn NYS Board Mandated credit hours from an approved provider!

This is a hands-on, limited enrollment program. You must bring your own (private practice) patient and required course materials (Hyaluronic Acid). Specific instructions will be sent upon registration confirmation. All other materials for the hands-on portion and lecture, including textbook and Botox, are included in the course fee. Breakfast & lunch included as well. 16 CDE credit Hours ADA/CERP and AGD

Special cancellation policy: Tuition refunds, less a $125 administration fee, issued for cancellations received in writing prior to September 1, 2010. No tuition refunds or credits after September 1, 2010.

Guest Faculty

Robert W. Gordon, DDS graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1997 and continued his education in a residency program in periodontics, as well as additional oral/surgery training. In addition, Dr. Gordon was accepted to one of the nation's top-ranked art schools: Savannah School of Art and Design, where he was accepted into the masters program of Fine Arts in Painting prior to relocating to Florida . He authored a groundbreaking textbook that addresses the science and art of lip and perioral augmentation. In addition Dr. Gordon has been featured in several peer review journals. Dr. Gordon's mission is to optimize lip and perioral aesthetics through the advancement of current techniques, dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge and the union of the vast body of practitioners participating in oral/facial augmentation.

New York State Education Law does not prohibit a New York State licensed dentist from using botulinum toxin type A and collagen in the oral and maxillofacial area, consistent with Section 6601, as long as it is related to restoring and maintaining dental health. When providing such services, the dentist must also be competent to provide such services.*
