Join us June 17 - 27, 2010 for 10 glorius days in Ireland, a land of breathtaking scenery, picture postcard villages and buzzing cities. You will find out what makes Ireland so unique when we visit the Rock of Cashel, a stately limestone outcrop topped with medieval church ruins. The island of Ireland is waiting to be discovered.
Itinerary
- June 18, Friday DUBLIN ARRIVAL
- Upon arrival at Dublin Airport, we will be met by a top driver/guide and taken to a waiting deluxe coach for our transfer to the city center. We will be taken on a panoramic city sightseeing tour of Dublin before being dropped off at The Davenport Hotel (www.ocallaghanhotels.com). This four star hotel is ideally located in the city center beside Merrion Square, within a few minutes walk of Trinity College and Grafton Street (the main shopping street).
- June 19, Saturday DUBLIN HIGHLIGHTS / IRISH NIGHT
- This morning, attend a Continuing Education Meeting in a private boardroom (from 8.00AM to 1.00PM) including tea/coffee and biscuits break. We will all have full day tickets for the hop on / hop off Dublin City tour (valid for 24 hours) so those not attending the meetings can begin sightseeing in the morning and the rest of the group can begin touring in the afternoon. Entrances are included to Trinity College with the famous Book of Kells and to the Guinness Storehouse. This evening enjoy an exclusive Irish night including a traditional Irish dinner with Irish entertainment including music, song and dance. Return to our hotel for overnight.
- June 20, Sunday ROCK OF CASHEL / BLARNEY / KINSALE
- Depart Dublin for a visit to the Rock of Cashel, a stately limestone outcrop topped with medieval church ruins. Continue to Blarney Castle (entrance included) where we can climb to the ramparts to kiss the famous "Stone of Eloquence." Also visit the Blarney Woollen Mills, which has an excellent range of Irish products of all types. Afterwards, head south to Kinsale and check into Actons Hotel for our overnight. Dinner is included at our hotel this evening.
- June 21, Monday KINSALE / KILLARNEY
- Enjoy some free time in Kinsale this morning exploring the many small gift shops and delightful views. Early this afternoon, we will travel from Kinsale on the coastal route to the charming town of Killarney in County Kerry. Check into The Brehon Hotel for three nights. Local pub dinner is included.
- June 22, Tuesday RING OF KERRY
- A full day of sightseeing with our driver/guide around the Ring of Kerry - a tour of constantly changing mountain and coastline scenery. The road winds between the Macgillycuddy's Reeks, the highest mountains in Ireland, and the Atlantic Ocean and we will enjoy plenty of stops to admire views. We will enjoy a sheepdog demonstration during our sightseeing today. Travel through Caherdaniel and Waterville at the western end of the peninsula and enjoy the bracing Atlantic breezes. Continue through the colorful village of Sneem and the vantage point of Moll's Gap. Return to Killarney for some free time this evening
- June 23, Wednesday MEETING / KILLARNEY SIGHTSEEING
- This morning, the group will attend a Continuing Education Meeting in a private boardroom in the hotel (from 8.00AM to 1.00PM) including tea/coffee and biscuits break. The afternoon (and full day for those not attending the meeting) will be free for individual activities including walking, shopping, visiting Muckross House and Gardens, taking a jaunting car through the Gap of Dunloe, enjoying the Lough Lein Cruise or playing a round of golf. Dinner will be included in the hotel this evening.
- June 24, Thursday DINGLE PENINSULA / CONG
- Depart Killarney this morning and travel north via Tralee and Adare towards the Cliffs of Moher where we stop for a visit. Continue north via Galway City (time for optional stop) to Cong, where we will check into Ashford Castle Hotel for two nights. Evening at leisure.
- June 25, Friday CRUISE / KYLEMORE ABBEY
- We'll enjoy an exclusive and special day of activities in the Mayo / Connemara area. Traveling through Joyce country, our first stop will be Killary Harbour where we'll take a cruise on Ireland's only Fjord. Later we'll visit Kylemore Abbey where we'll have an exclusive tour and also the opportunity to do some jam making.
- June 26, Saturday CAUSEY FARM / DUBLIN
- Depart Ashford Castle late morning and travel to County Meath for a visit to the Causey Farm to enjoy some bread making, turf cutting and traditional activities. Check into Dunboyne Castle Hotel for final overnight including dinner at the hotel.
- June 27, Sunday DEPART
- After breakfast this morning we will be transferred directly to Dublin Airport to catch our flight to the USA.

Program
The program consists of a "nuts and bolts" practical clinical oral pathology lecture focusing on oral cancer and other mucosal disorders commonly seen in the practice of dentistry. This is a very enjoyable program that covers Clinical Oral Pathology in a way you’Äôve probably never experienced before!
The seminar is presented by a experienced clinician and educator, James F. Drummond, in a casual, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with ample opportunity for audience participation. Most program will have special interactive clinicopathologic conferences using high quality clinical photos of actual cases, enabling you to practice what you learn. The course is appropriate for general dentists, specialists, hygienists and physicians.
After completing this program, you should feel comfortable in addressing your patients’Äô concerns about oral cancer. You will know how to recognize specific oral lesions, formulate a differential diagnosis, know what to do to obtain a definitive diagnosis and know how to treat and manage these lesions. In addition, you will know the utilitarian value of newer diagnostic aids.
James F. Drummond Professor Emeritus of Oral Pathology at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He received his DDS, MSD in Oral Pathology and PhD in biochemistry from Saint Louis University. He is a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and the International Association for Dental Research. Dr. Drummond has authored numerous publications in Oral Pathology and has lectured both nationally and internationally. For sixteen years, he has been Course Director of the highly popular CE course "Practical Oral Pathology for the Oral health Practitioner" offered annually in Branson, MO.
