Dr. Gerald Benjamin Professor, Oral Diagnostic Sciences

 


Visiting faculty, including members of the Advisory Council and other distinguished presenters, assist in the residency and modular continuing education programs. They also mentor four days per week, allowing students and participants to begin and complete specific procedures. Visiting faculty are included in lectures covering other aspects of esthetic dentistry, such as patient treatment plans and practice management.

Steve Ancowitz, DDS
Director, Postgraduate Prosthodontic Residency, West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. Dr. Ancowitz has given several presentations and published papers on prosthodontic esthetics including color in ceramics. He teaches for several postgraduate programs in esthetic dentistry throughout the country.

Paul Belvedere, DDS is an internationally renowned teacher, lecturer, author and innovator of cosmetic and composite dentistry since 1975. He is regarded by his peers as the "Father of Direct Posterior Composites", inventor of composite matrices and instruments, a featured speaker for the ADA, AACD, AGD, many State and foreign Dental Societies and domestic and foreign dental universities. He has published numerous articles on cosmetic and composite techniques and maintains a private practice.

Robert Buhite, DDS
Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Restorative Dentistry; Director of Implant Dentistry Program and the UB Education Center for Implant Dentistry and holds Appointments in the Departments of Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics and Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine; Fellow, International Congress of Oral Implantology; Fellow, Academy of General Dentistry; Honored Fellow, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Diplomate, American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry; member, Board of Directors, ABOI/ID; Dr. Buhite maintains a part-time practice limited to implant dentistry in Rochester, NY.

D. Carbanaro, DDS is a Diplomate on the American Board of Periodontology and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics at SUNY/Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. He is the founder and Director of the Southeast Periodontal Prosthetic Study Group of Rochester and lectures extensively on esthetics and comprehensive periodontal therapy. Dr. Carbonaro maintains a private practice in Fairport, NY.

Dr. Cary. Galler, DDS Private practice, specializing in periodontics: Instructor, University of Toronto and Queen Elizabeth Hospital; National Co-Chairman of the Periodontal Screening and Recording Committee of the Canadian Dental Association.

Jimmy Eubank, DDS is the only dentist in the world who has earned status as an Accredited Dentist as well as an Accredited Lab Technician through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This gives him the unique perspective that is sure to have an impact on your understanding of how to use new developments and better techniques to rebuild smiles that exhibit esthetic harmony between the teeth, the soft tissues and the face. He is co-director of the Advanced Restorative Esthetics Post Graduate Continuums at Louisiana State University and UCLA. He also maintains a private practice focusing on appearance related dental conditions in Plano, Texas.

Marshall Fagin, DDS, Assistant Professor of Graduate Fixed Prosthodontics at the the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine and private practice limited to prosthodontics, Buffalo, NY. He is a member of numerous prosthodontic and dental associations, including the American College of Prosthodontists, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and he is President and founder of the Metropolitan Dental Study Club. Dr. Fagin has lectured extensively throughout the United States and Canada over the past 20 years, and more recently at P.A.C.- Live in San Francisco.

Dr. Cary Galler, DDS is in private practice, specializing in periodontics. Instructor, University of Toronto and Queen Elizabeth Hospital; National Co-Chairman of the Periodontal Screening and Recording Committee of the Canadian Dental Association.

Ronald Jackson, DDS is considered one of the pioneers in the development of the clinical technique for esthetic inlays and onlays. He has published many articles on this topic and lectured extensively across the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Jackson has presented at all the major scientific dental conferences and has been a featured speaker at the annual meetings of all three American organizations for esthetic/cosmetic dentistry. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and holds a visiting faculty appointment to the Postgraduate Programs in Esthetic Dentistry at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Jackson is Director of {Postgraduate Esthetics Program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He serves on the editorial boards of three dental publications and is a consultant to a number of dental manufacturers in the area of new product development and clinical testing of materials. Dr. Jackson maintains a private practice in Middleburg, Virginia emphasizing comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Jeff Morley, DDS is one of the pioneers in the filed of esthetic dentistry. He is co-founder and past President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Associate Editor of JADA. Dr. Morley is adjunct professor of Esthetic Dentistry at UB and is co-director of the Advanced Restorative Esthetics Post Graduate Continuums at Louisiana State University and UCLA. Dr. Morley is a fellow and is accredited by the AACD and is Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. He also maintains a private practice focusing on appearance related dental conditions in San Francisco.

B. Preston, DDS
C. Brian Preston BDS, Dip.Orth., M.Dent., PhD, Chairman, Department of Orthodontics, University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Preston was educated at the University of the Witwatersrand School of Oral Health Sciences in South Africa, where he was a lecturer, professor and Dean/Manager. He has received many awards and honors for his work and research. Dr. Preston has presented courses to several professional groups throughout the world. He is a member of several dental societies and organizations in the US, South Africa and Europe, and has published research papers in various journals and periodicals and at scientific meetings. Dr. Preston is a life member of Operation Wildflower and also a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He is an accomplished skier and skiing instructor.

Dr. Robert J. Yetto is a 1983 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He entered a practice that was largely focused on esthetic issues shortly after and acquired sole ownership of that practice in 1992. He completed a two year program of post graduate training in esthetics in 1997 at Buffalo, and was then invited to join the newly established Esthetic Dentistry Education Center at SUNY/Buffalo, where he teaches dentists and dental students in adhesive dentistry techniques as a part time clinical associate professor. Dr. Yetto has completed over 850 hours of continuing education courses with a concentration in Esthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry, and he is a Fellow in the International Academy for Dental and Facial Esthetics. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dental Society of the State of New York, the Eighth District Dental Society and the Erie County Dental Society. He has 18 years of experience in private practice and has placed thousands of esthetic restorations.
