to Continuing Dental Education
From hands-on workshops to distance learning, CDE offers dental health
practitioners and health professionals a variety of opportunites to
keep up on the latest techniques and topics in dentistry.
Mission
Statement
To provide unbiased learning opportunities encompassing changes in attitudes
and approaches of dental health care professionals. This is accomplished
through updates on outdated knowledge; provision of new knowledge in
specific areas; introduction to and/or opportunities for mastery of
new skills and techniques; solutions to dental problems; and alterations
in the habits of the learner that facilitate the competent provision
of dental care to the public.
Current knowledge,
skills and attitudes of dentistry are taught to students
and members of the dental and allied health professions in degree and
certificate programs and to life long learners through dental continuing
education.

Unless otherwise
indicated, all courses are held at the University at Buffalo, School
of Dental Medicine, Squire Hall, UB South Campus at the corner of Main
Street and Bailey Avenue in Buffalo. Need

Parking
on Campus
Parking for visitors is limited to certain lots and metered areas.
On weekdays, 7:00am to 3:00 pm, visitors may park in the Michael-Farber,
in the Visitor Information Center, (see
map) located off Bailey Avenue. There is an entry charge of $4.00
($2.00 after 1:00pm) Parking on South Campus is free after 3:00 pm and
on weekends.
UB
Dental Alumni must show current membership card
for free parking in Michael-Farber Lot. All other parking areas close
to the Dental School are restricted. Vehicles parked illegally are subject
to ticketing and towing. The University at Buffalo, CDE does not assume
any responsibility for fines or towing fees. On weekends, free parking
is available in all lots.

Parking
for Persons with Disablities
Is
available in the Diefendorf Lot. Only vehicles having license plates
for persons with disabilities, permits issued by a state municipality
for persons with disabilities or temporary permits for persons with
disabilities (issued through the Office of Disability Services, 25 Capen
Hall, 716-645-2608), may utilize designated areas.
