St. LuciaJoin us July 18 - 25, 2008 as we set sail on a 7-day Alaska cruise aboard the Celebrity cruiseship Infinity. UB School of Dental Medicine and University of Iowa, College of Dentistry have teamed up to offer this incredible travel opportunity. Lectures convene while the ship is sailing to allow ample time for shore excursions and touring the cities.

Program

New Drug Therapy Challenges in Dental Practice presented by:
Karen Baker, R.Ph., M.S. Pharm, Associate Professor, Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology and Medicine, College of Dentistry, and Clinical Pharmacy Division, College of Pharmacy, The University of Iowa.

Ms. Baker directs the only dental in-house Pharmacy and Drug Therapy Consultation Center in the United States which serves faculty, staff, students, and patients each clinic day. She has given over 700 programs nationally and internationally and holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Association, the AmericanPharmaceutical Association, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Ms. Baker is on the editorial board of the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry. She has authored more than 50 articles and abstracts and lectures extensively in pre-doctoral and graduate-level courses at the University of Iowa.
